Boy oh boy, have we got the ultimate humpday treat for you all, after nearly three long years, Tame Impala have sneakily released the first track from their forthcoming record, a nearly 8-minute journey through Kevin Parker’s dreamy psychedelic soundscape.
The track is entitled ‘Let It Happen’ which sees the band take off exactly where they left us on Lonerism, the song further revealing Parker’s production prowess as he ventures to an almost French inspired dance beat, ‘Let It Happen’ reminiscent of an immersive AIR track, a band the multi instrumentalist has frequently cited as a major influence.
We knew Tame Impala would stay true to form, and if ‘Let It Happen’ is anything to go by, the highly anticipated third album is going to be an absolute pearler.
