The Little Bastard story starts in 2012 when Johnny Took (vocals/guitar) met Ross Tipper (percussion/harmonica/vocals) in a pub, two soon became three, and three became seven … as the Bastards multiplied.
The first single from the band’s forthcoming album ‘High For You’, is a song about being reckless for the one you love and the crazy repercussions that come of it.
The video is a collection of footage taken on the road and in the studio. It captures a band that has no inhabitations, much like their high-energy stage performances, which tend to leave audiences sweaty, breathless and heading towards a heavy hangover.
Speaking of the road, Little Bastard are set to rock the sold out Hills Are Alive music festival this weekend, before supporting Sticky Fingers at their sold out show at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Sunday 30th March. Still, you can imagine the rock action with this high-octane clip. Dig in.
