Lollapalooza has just dropped the soundtrack for your Friday evening isolation tinnie cracking ritual. The festival has unearthed Foo Fighters legendary 2011 set from their archive, available to watch right now.

The set is infamous for the shithouse weather that Foo Fighters were handed. Of course, this is Fooeys we’re talking about and it takes more than a healthy helping of torrential rain to ruffle Dave Grohl’s jimmies. “I don’t give a fuck if it’s raining tonight!” Dave Grohl said during the set.

Th performance saw Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell appeared on stage during set closer “Everlong.” It’s bloody jubilant stuff. You can watch it below.

The stream is set to benefit Crew Nation, Live Nation’s initiative to help put money in the pockets of those in the music industry who are facing financial hardship amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The fund will see Live Nation contribute an initial US$5 million to support employees from across the live ecosystem. The tourin company will then match the next US$5 million donated by artists, fans and staff.

“Crew members are the backbone of the live music industry, and we hope you’ll join us in supporting them through this temporary intermission until we can once again unite millions around the world through the power of live music,” Live Nation shared in a statement.

Crew Nation is powered by Music Forward Foundation, a charitable not-for-profit organization, that will be administering the fund.
