if you had plans to visit the Lorne leg of Falls Festival this year, then you might want to start looking at flights interstate, with the festival announcing the Victorian edition of the festival has now sold out.
Just over a week ago, Falls Festival announced the lineup for its 26th year, and it was a doozy. Headlined by Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, the lineup boasted CHVRCHES, Toto, and Interpol, and it also featured exclusive shows from the likes of Catfish And The Bottlemen, First Aid Kit, and Cashmere Cat.
Now, the Lorne leg of the festival has officially sold out, meaning you’ll either have to hope for a late ticket release, or head interstate if you want to witness this brilliant lineup.
Last year saw Falls Festival sell out in just under an hour, while previous festivals have seen Lorne sell out in the space of just 30 minutes. While this year does seem to have slower than average sales, the other legs of the festival are also experiencing very healthy sales, so it looks like we’ll have another sold-out festival on our hands.
Falls Festival have also said that there are plenty more acts to be announced, so make sure you get in quick to ensure your ticket to the remaining legs of the festival. But if you’re deadset on heading along to Lorne, just play it safe and ensure that you don’t buy any tickets from scalpers.
