Meat Loaf might be most famous for his impressive vocal abilities, but the man also considers himself an actor, having appeared in big-hitters like Hair, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Fight Club in the past.

Now he is set to star in a 13-part sci-fi series named Ghost Wars, alongside Vincent D’Onofrio. The show will be available on Netflix later this year, and was created by Simon Barry, who helmed Van Helsing.

Kim Coates, Avan Jogia and Kristin Lehman also appear in the show, which is set in an isolated Alaskan village.

Ghost Wars is not just a contemporary homage to classic psychological horror, it’s also an opportunity to tell stories about human politics and how we shape our beliefs and lives based on our individual perspectives and biases,” Barry said of the show. “Science, humanism, religion and the paranormal all get a seat at the table.”

It promises to be his best TV performance since that time in Celebrity Apprentice where he flipped out, attacked Gary Busey, and behaved like an absolute maniac. Check it out below.
