Melanie C will return to Australia this November as part of her 2026 world tour, with a run of headline shows announced across the country.

The Australian leg begins at Perth’s Astor Theatre on November 11th before heading east for shows at Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on November 13th, Brisbane’s Tivoli on November 14th, and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on November 15th.

General on sale tickets will be available from 10am (local) on Friday, March 20th. Mastercard and artist presales will run from 10am (local) on Wednesday, March 18th, before a Live Nation presale from 10am (local) on Thursday, March 19th.

The former Spice Girl is touring in support of her ninth studio album Sweat, arriving on May 1st via Virgin Music Group. The euphoric, dance floor-driven record was inspired by the freedom and energy of her early ’90s Costa Brava rave days.

Recorded across London, Stockholm and Los Angeles, Sweat brings together every side of Melanie’s musical identity – pop icon, athlete, underground DJ, and lifelong raver – into a joyful and uplifting body of work. The lead single’s video was filmed locally in Australia.

On the Rolling Stone Uncut podcast late last year, she said Sweat hopes to bing the worlds of pop and electronic music together. “I’ve wanted to inject more fun into it. It’s very much an album that has light and shade, you know?”

It’s been inspired by her love of DJing, which she picked up eight years ago. “I was like going back to people’s after parties, and the boys were getting on the decks, and it was all vinyl decks at that point. I was looking going, ‘Oh, I want to go’, but never had the courage. It wasn’t until like eight years ago when a friend of mine was like, just give it a go. I just fell in love immediately,” she said.

“It’s a journey and and everything I’ve done I’ve been so passionate about at the time, and whatever I’ve wanted to express, it’s felt right within that genre. I’m having so much fun at the moment, playing live, DJing… I think all of that is fed into the music which has made it a bit more club friendly.”

As a member of the Spice Girls, Melanie C helped redefine global pop culture. The group have sold more than 85 million records worldwide, with their debut album Spice becoming the best-selling album by a female group in history.

They achieved No. 1 singles in 37 countries and received the BRIT Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music. Melanie C reunited with the group for the 2012 London Olympics Closing Ceremony and their sold-out 2019 UK stadium tour.

Her solo career has been equally formidable, with over 3 million albums sold worldwide, two No. 1 singles and six Top 10 hits including the Bryan Adams duet “When You’re Gone”.
