Philadelphia emo stalwarts mewithoutYou have announced that they’re calling it a day, but not without a celebration.
The band took to social media to confirm that 2020 will be their final year as a band. “We have decided on next year as our last as an active band,” they announced. “We nevertheless have many plans in the interim, the details of which are forthcoming.”
The band have remained elusive as to what their loyal legion of fans can expect from their swan song, but we’re hoping an international farewell tour is on the cards.

The band formed in 2000, so 2020 will mark their 20th anniversary. They released their latest record, the sublime [Untitled] last year.
