Emerging from New Zealand circa 1977 and bringing us such classics as ‘But You Don’t Care’, ‘People’ and the unfortgettable ‘Computer Games’, new wave rock outfit Mi-Sex have reunited and will showcase the same energy they once had thanks to new frontman, Steve Balbi.

The Blue Day Tour spauned from their one-off showcase at The Christchurch Quake Relief Concert  back in April this year, reforming especially for this very close to home event. With Balbi on board, this was their confirmation, this was the right chemistry, this would again ignite their passion for live performances as Mi-Sex!

After the horrific death of lead singer/frontman Steve Gilpin’s death in 1992, Mi-Sex were forced to lay low for 20 years.

It hasn’t all been bad news for Mi-Sex though, through the 80’s Mi-Sex were a power to be reckoned with, touring nationally in New Zealand, Australia and internationally with the success of their infamous single ‘Computer Games’.

Holding their #1 spot in the Australian charts in 1979,  by April 1980 Computer Games’ had charted in more than 20 countries, and had peaked inside the top ten in Canada, France, Austria, Italy, West Germany and South Africa.
