There’s nothing better than when Miley Cyrus proves to the world that she’s an absolute force to be reckoned with, and she did just that once more at Las Vegas’ iHeart Radio Festival.

Recent live performances have seen Miley Cyrus put her own unique spin on rock ‘n’ roll classics by the likes of Nine Inch Nails, Led Zeppelin, and even legends themselves Metallica. That trend continued at Las Vegas’ iHeart Radio Festival on Saturday night, as Cyrus covered Pink Floyd’s classic ‘Comfortably Numb’ as a part of her eight-song set.

Thankfully for us, some phone-wielding fans happened to capture the footage of the performance for our enjoyment. Check out the beautiful cover right below.

“My favourite faces to see in the crowd are confused dads,” Cyrus commented amidst her string of classic rock covers. In addition to ‘Comfortably Numb’, the pop singer also sang Zeppelin’s “Black Dog”.

During last night’s performance, Cyrus also offered up the live debut of ‘Don’t Call Me An Angel’, her recent collaboration with Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey for the new remake of Charlie’s Angels. You can watch that performance below.

In recent Cyrus news, the uber-talented artist has recently has handled her very public split from husband Liam Hemsworth with admirable grace. Whilst the majority of us going through a traumatic breakup would have filled their days manically texting their friends trying to convince them to convince you that cutting your hair into a mullet is a very good idea, Miley has handled the dissolution of her relationship with poise and grace. Her way of grieving the loss of a love? A rocking pixies tattoo.

A few weeks ago at the MTV Video Music Awards, Cyrus performed her new single ‘Slide Away’ — a track that addresses the fallout of her split with husband Liam Hemsworth. During the performance, a couple of eagle-eyed fans spotted that Cyrus was sporting some new post-breakup ink.

Cyrus’ new bicep tattoo features lyrics from the Pixies track ‘The Thing’, a song that appeared as B-side on the 1990 record Velouria. “My head was feeling scared, but my heart was feeling free.”
