Punk and ska fans around Australia, your prayers have been answered. The organisers of the highly anticipated Soundwave 2015 festival have added a punk and ska super-bill to their incredible roster of Sidewaves, with a lineup featuring Millencolin, The Vandals, and The Interrupters.

Taking place over two nights, fans in Melbourne and Brisbane will witness the return of Sweden’s hottest punk rock export, Millencolin. They’ll be bringing the immense catalogue of timeless tunes that has seen them become one of the international festival circuit’s most sought-after acts.

Meanwhile, The Vandals will be bringing their legendary presence to The Hi-Fi in Brisbane and Melbourne. With 11 studio albums under their belt, these veterans have been at the forefront of balls-to-the-wall punk for more than a generation, becoming a notorious fixture of the global punk scene.

Finally, The Interrupters are one of the most intriguing bands to come on the ska scene in recent memory. Coming with the seal of approval from Rancid’s Tim Armstrong, the LA four-piece are known for mixing rocksteady rhythms and snarly guitar riffs with a thorny political message.
