Australian Indie-Electronica luminaries, Miami Horror recently dropped their impressive long awaited sophomore album All Possible Futures (out now via Remote Control Records).

After touring the world multiple times over and internationally repping their Australian brand of electronica, Miami Horror have decided to celebrate their Aussie electro brothers and sisters with their fave local party jams.

Check out the mix below and pop by www.miamihorror.com to grab your copy of the LP.

Total Giovanni – ‘Human Animal’
We had been enjoying a large amount of post punk/disco during the creation of this album ala Talking Heads and its really good to see a Melbourne band also heavily influenced by similar music. Production on this track is super tight and the groove, gtr and synth work off each other perfectly. This song is kinda like the lost Talking heads song i’ve been waiting for.

Dorsal Fins – ‘Heart on the Floor’
This song is totally out of the blue on an album that is mostly psych & indie rock, but its beautifully crafted. Really good 80s funk.

GL – ‘What Happened to Us?’
Great downtempo 80s funk, again it’s inspiring to see other Melbourne artists attempting a fairly international classic sound.

Queen Magic – ‘I Don’t Want’
Beautiful honest song, it’s his first song and I don’t think he could have got it more right.

NoZu – ‘Telepathic Body’
Nozu are great because they aren’t trying to write singles or confirm to anything, they’re just doing their own thing and its completely wild. More obscure post punk references. I hope more people discover this band.
