Sydney’s Tumbalong Park will be transformed into a performance space on Saturday 22 October 2011, playing host to a bunch of emerging International and Australian artists across the electronic music and indie spectrum for the inaugural música event – música /TUMBALONG.
With a hand-picked selection of nine artists, five of which are making their debut Australian appearances, música /TUMBALONG is focused on delivering a limited capacity event where the accent is Sydney-siders who enjoy good food, good wine, good company and great music.
“música /TUMBALONG is the first in a series of inspiring and original boutique events, produced by people who are creative, personable and extremely passionate about music. At the heart of música is our desire to be unique and exceed all expectations” says Kane Bligh, the event promoter.
With ten hours of music kicking off from Midday(artists will be playing full 45 – 60 minute sets) this licensed 18 + event will also stage roaming performers, an array of food and beverages to suit all palates, one main stage and a VIP deck. The lineup features and array of indie and dance artists, including one of the world’s hottest DJ/Producers SBTRKT (UK),and completed by Baths (US), Bon Chat, Bon Rat (AUS), Electric Wire Hustle (NZ), Ghostpoet (UK), LUNICE (CAN), Mitzi (AUS), SBTRKT (UK), Simon Caldwell (AUS), Tiger & Woods (ITA). It’s held on Saturday 22 October from 12pm – 10pm at Tumbalong Park, the circular park within the Darling Harbour precinct. It’s located between Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour and the Sydney Entertainment Centre
