North Carolina’s Band of Horses have announced the release of the much anticipated follow up to 2007’s Cease To Begin. The new album, entitled Infinite Arms, will be released on May 17th. Self produced by the band with the assistance of Fleet Foxes producer Phil Ek, the album also promotes touring members Tyler Ramsey and Bill Reynolds to recording members.

They’re about to embark on an epic European and US tour over the northern Spring and Summer, and although there are no Australian dates announced yet, they could certainly fit in Splendour In The Grass judging by their schedule, not to mention the very good relationship the band has with the Meredith Festival organisers.
