Sampology Australian Tour 2014 Announced

Fresh from rocking the summer festival season, Brisbane-based mash-up maestro Sampology is set to deliver a brand new audio visual DJ set as part of a brand new Australian and New Zealand tour (presented by Stoney Roads) to coincide with the release of new track ‘Show Me’, given away as a free download on 31st January. Transforming golden nuggets of hypercolour Bollywood cinematography from the 70s and 80s into a futuristic experience, Sampology’s ‘Beyond Bollywood’ AV show will delve into a number of twists, turns and audio visual curveballs, to yet again deliver a bold, colourful, hilarious and highly engaging party experience inspired by the A/V DJ’s recent debut tour of India.

Major Leagues Expand Australian Tour 2014


Major Leagues are releasing their debut EP Weird Season and heading out on their first-ever Australian headline tour through February, supported by Melbourne’s The Ocean Party, and now the tour has expanded – adding WA dates with support from Gunns to the tour itinerary as well as support across all shows. Riding off the success of Weird Season’s three singles – ‘Teen Mums’, ‘Endless Drain’ and ‘Silver Tides’ (with a newly released film clip) – the band have built international and local buzz throughout 2013. Caspian Announce New Album, Australian Tour 2014

Beverly, Massachusetts post rock group Caspian are set to release their third full-length album Waking Season on vinyl in Australia this March via Adelaide indie label Hobbledehoy (on 7th March, 2014). To celebrate, the band are heading Down Under for their first ever Australian tour dates in March. Support comes from Sydney cinematic instrumental group Meniscus, who themselves are coming off the back of successful European & Australian touring in support of 2011’s War of Currents album; a bill that no instrumental music fan should miss.

Eves, Jesse Davidson & Jordan Léser Announce Triple Threat Tour


Presented by Select Music and Mucho Bravado, the Triple Threat Tour will see three emerging Australian talents – Eves, Jesse Davidson, and Jordan Léser, hailing from Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney respectively – joining forces for the fourth instalment of the co-headlining tour. Eves, the musical non de plume of Hannah Karydas, is a Triple J Next Crop 2014 pick and will take headlining duties at the opening date in Melbourne as well as Canberra. Sophisticated 17-year-old singer-songwriter, Jesse Davidson, will be headlining in Canberra, while Sydney heroine Jordan Léser will take top billing in her hometown as well as Wollongong.
