It seems that at least for the last few months wherever Kings Of Leon go disaster seems to follow them. This time the troubled US band got caught up in the flight chaos brought on by the weekend grounding of the entire Qantas aircraft fleet brought on by the ongoing dispute between management and unions at the airline.

Due to begin their delayed tour of Australia in a few days, the band were forced to make last minute changes to their travel plans which irked drummer Nathan Followill who took to Twitter to vent his frustrations.

Good morning. Dear Qantas, u suck, thanks 4 fucking up my trip 2 Oz. Joberg-Dubai-Sydney. 24 hours in the air. That’s how much I love Oz.

The silver lining is that we are throwing one hell of a halloween party on the plane. I’m going as the drunk guy in seat 5a.

The band’s tour of Australia was originally scheduled for March this year but had to be postponed after Nathan had surgery on his arm and was unable to play. A few months later the band had a spectacular fall from grace after they were forced to abandon a show in Dallas halfway through due to frontman Caleb Followill being spectacularly drunk, leaving the stage and refusing to return.

The incident forced the band to cancel their entire US tour, and lead to much speculation that huge rifts were developing internally between Caleb and his fellow band members.
