Byron Bay’s Bluesfest which won Australian Event of the Year in 2010 looks like it is going to get a whole lot better in 2011.

A line-up announcement which had been embargoed until midnight tonight has been broken by Fairfax newspapers, leaving organisers absolutely furious. Leading the bill with Bob Dylan are B.B. King, Elvis Costello & The Imposters and Ben Harper & The Relentless 7.

The rest of the line-up includes Michael Franti & Spearhead, Rodrigo y Gabriela, The Cat Empire, Blind Boys of Alabama featuring Aaron Neville, Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Fistful of Mercy, Mavis Staples, Xavier Rudd, Trinity Roots, Little Bushmen, Tony Joe White, Indigo Girls, Kate Miller-Heidke, Eric Bibb, Washington, Ash Grunwald, Ruthie Foster, C.W. Stoneking, Jeff Lang, Saltwater Band, and RocKwiz Live.

Dates for Bluesfest 2011 are Thursday 21st til Monday 25th of April at Tyagarah tea farm site, with early birrd tickets still on sale here for a very limited time.
