This year’s BIGSOUND will take place from 10th to the 12th September, again offering three days and two nights of live music, panels, forums, seminars, and parties (oh, the parties) for another year.

For Aussie artists, its provided countless offers for inking deals, touring offers, publishing rights, syncs, contracts – you name it. Just as it has done in helping the likes of The Jezabels, San Cisco, Seth Sentry, Megan Washington, Ball Park Music, Abbey May, Kate Miller-Heidke, Sheppard, Emma Louise (and many more) not just get their foot in the door, but positively kick it down.

But you don’t have to be a beatmaker or in a band to attend BIGSOUND 2014. Along with applications opening, earlybird tickets are also on sale at www.bigsound.org.au offering everyone the chance to get in front over 150 international industry guests as well as the who’s who of the Australian scene. Given the speed at which the last three years’ conferences sold out, don’t expect passes to last long.
Among the many highlights of last year’s BIGSOUND 2013 was a keynote address from the Bard Of Barking Billy Bragg and crowdfunding cabaret queen Amanda Palmer, Indigenous hero Gurrumul, a satellite link-up with Nick Cave, and multiple gigs -secret and publicised alike – from King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. (Did we mention the parties?)
Don’t forget all the crowdsurfing, taste-making, artist-breaking action provided by the mammoth BIGSOUND Live lineup.
