Aww Hooky – let it be! No doubt after making a decent wedge of cash by playing Joy Division covers in the UK, US and Australia with his Unknown Pleasures tour, former Joy Division and New Order bassist Peter Hook is planning to do it all over again playing Closer, the post mortem release for Joy Division which came out just weeks after front man Ian Curtis’ suicide.

Initially starting out with gigs in Manchester, Edinburgh and London, Peter Hook’s The Light will no doubt take the karaoke show on tour providing the novelty hasn’t worn off, and we wouldn’t be surprised if Aussie dates are announced soon.
