If there’s one man who can do anything in music and make it awesome, it’s Wayne Coyne. The eccentric frontman for The Flaming Lips has announced the band plan on recording a six-hour song with the proceeds going to charity.

Just how will they raise the money to benefit the Central Oklahoma Humane Society and the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma? Fans can pay $100 to get their name uttered at some point in the lyrics of the track entitled ‘Found a Star on the Ground’.

With six hours of track to play with the band could raise some serious coin for a good cause, and you could have your name in a Flaming Lips song, doesn’t get much cooler than that!
