Although only announced last week as part of the second lineup for Future Music Festival 2012, Mark Ronson has already cancelled his appearance at the festival due to the well used excuse of ‘scheduling conflicts’. Makes you wonder, who exactly is doing the schedules for all these artists?

A statement released by promoter Future Entertainment reads as follows:

“Mark Ronson was outstanding at Future Music Festival this year and following this we both really wanted a follow up tour showcasing his the other creative abilities. He is an amazing DJ and this was the basis of his proposed appearance at Future Music 2012. Over and above this he is one of the worlds most in demand producers and he has had opportunities come up he cant refuse.”

“We are still in discussions about when he can return with us to Australia and we are more than happy to wait for the right time… He is welcome back whenever its suitable and we wish him all the best continuing with what is a brilliant career to date.”

The festival however still boasts a huge lineup including but not limited to New Order, The Rapture, Aphex Twin, Fatboy Slim, LCD Soundsystem DJs, The Wombats, Friendly Fires, Gym Class Heroes, Zane Lowe, and Professor Green.
