The Chet Faker Australian Tour 2014 has been announced.

Following confirming that the Splendour In The Grass 2014 lineup leak was totally B.S., Chet Faker has confirmed his promise of announcing details for a national album tour to launch his long-awaited debut LP, Built On Glass.

The Australian Tour, through June and July, will be the Melbourne-born chilltronica crooner’s first headline dates in over two years and will take in capital cities and regional centres as he and the full band perform cuts from Built On Glass, released worldwide this past week. They will be his only shows this winter, with extensive international touring to follow.

Currently sitting atop the Australian iTunes chart while snatching ‘Album of the Week’ status on multiple Aussie radio stations, Built On Glass gets a second single release to coincide with the tour news. Following on from lead cut ‘Talk Is Cheap’, new ‘banger’, ‘1998’ is already a live favourite. Check out the stream below and keep an eye out brand new video, an homage to artist Keith Haring and 90s rave culture, coming soon

The Chet Faker Australian Tour 2014 will be supported by Yumi Zouma on all dates. Stylish, effortless and intuitive, the New Zealand three-piece’s EP is an accomplished collection of organic dream pop, pulsing with simple melodies and whispered intimacies.
