Hottest 100 overlord Nick Murphy —formerly known as Chet Faker— has announced that he will be returning to Australia in May to play three headlines shows. These shows coincide with the release of his highly-anticipated second album Run Fast Sleep Naked, due out April 26 via Downtown/Future Classic/Opulent.
Nick Murphy and his band will be bringing their soulful stylings to Melbourne’s The Forum on Wednesday 1 May, Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Wednesday 8 May and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Tuesday 14 May.
Earlier this morning, Murphy premiered lead single ‘Sanity’ on triple j. He has since released a music video for the track, which you can watch below.

Murphy’s last full-length record Built On Glass, was released in 2014. It featured Hottest 100 winning track ‘Talk Is Cheap.’ Murphy released the Missing Link EP back in 2017, his first release under the moniker Nick Murphy. Check out the tracklist for the new record below.
