It’s been 16 years since Kurt Cobain blew his brains out, but for the first time since some of their infamous 1994 MTV Unplugged shows, the remaining members of Nirvana reunited at a secret tiny club show in California on the 21st of December. Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl who played drums for Nirvana, bassist Krist Novoselic and additional guitarist Pat Smear all got on stage at the Paladino Club. They busted out the obscure Nirvana track ‘Marigold’ which was a b-side to ‘Heart Shaped Box’ off 1994’s In Utero, as well as a bunch of new Foo Fighters songs off their forthcoming album. These songs included ‘Back + Forth’, ‘White Limo’, ‘Dear Rosemary’ and ‘These Days’ which will no doubt be hammering the airwaves next year.
