Outkast are legendary in their own right. And then again, so are The Beatles.
As reported by Complex, a recent tweet which has surfaced on the platform has come to the attention of the hip hop duo, suggesting that the rap group are ‘better’ than seminal rock & rollers, The Beatles.
The tweet reads, “When society admits OutKast is better than The Beatles then we can truly start healing.” The tweet which was made by actor/comedian Ron Funches naturally has sparked an outcry on Twitter, as Complex note it was bound to do, due to referring to one of the most popular bands of all time.

The tweet revealed two things: that naturally, people have a lot to say on the sentiment. And secondly, the tweets make it clear that it really is that deep.
One user tweeted, “Comparing Outkast to the Beatles isn’t fair. Outkast didn’t have 30 years worth of Blues artists music to steal from uncredited.”

Other aren’t taking the piss so to speak, but rather are taking this as an opportunity to call out some very deep feelings about Playboi Carti. The user wrote, “Hey Jude is considered one of the “best songs ever” by old white people but the last four minutes are this and they have the nerve to call Playboi Carti out for being repititve.
