Amidst Kanye West announcing that he will run for president, and Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda announcing the same, it seems like they might have some competition: Ozzy Osbourne.

The political race for the 2020 presidency in the United States is racing forward. While the country continues to be slammed by mass amounts of coronavirus cases, and while citizens still both stand angry at the current president, or are still shouting about his success, everything could change come November 2020, where either Donald Trump’s reign will continue, or a new face will be added to the mix.

While the two main contenders are current POTUS Donald Trump and former vice president Joe Biden, a few others have been thrown into the mix, including musicians. Kayne West recently revealed that he’d be running for president, despite the fact that he is rumoured to not yet have filled out his paperwork.

Then, Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda joked that he was running for president, but noted that he actually just has music on the way.

Now, a new candidate seems to be popping up – the prince of darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne. Appearing on his merchandise website, and announced on Facebook, Ozzy Osbourne merch stating ‘Ozzy Osbourne For President’ is now on sale, with the caption announcing: “It’s time for an entirely new candidate…”

Surrounding an emblem of the iconic rockers face are the words ‘Ozzy For President’ plastered on t-shirts, hoodies, bumperstickers, lithographs, and more.

Although it’s unknown if Ozzy Osbourne is officially going to be announcing a presidential campaign, you can snap up some of his merch via his website, and boast who you’d see as president: a rocking, absolutely legendary musician, who probably has plenty of neat ideas lined up for the United States.
