Paul McCartney has announced that his 1997 album Flaming Pie will be getting the special re-release treatment.

The reissue is the 13th instalment in his ongoing Archive Collection series, which has also seen special edition releases of acclaimed albums Ram, McCartney and Band on the Run.

Flaming Pie was the ex-Beatle’s 10th solo album, and marks 20 years of the Archive Collection series. Flaming Pie is notably produced by ELO’s Jeff Lyne, as well as the late George Martin and McCartney.

Each physical release in the Archive Collection series has been nothing short of spectacular, and Flaming Pie is no exception. The announcement comes with an unboxing video, which shows the boxset off in all its glory. Fans will be able to purchase the 4LP/5CD/2DVD box set from 31 July.

NME reports that fans who pre-order the massive box set will also be treated to a copy of the Young Boy EP, which re-creates the 1997 maxi single ‘Young Boy’. The EP also includes a home-recorded version of the song, the single’s original B-side ‘Looking For You’ and excerpts of ‘Oobu Joobu Part 1′.

It’s been a busy time for McCartney. Earlier this month, he voiced his support for the Black Lives Matter movement, saying: “We need to learn more, listen more, talk more educate ourselves and, above all, take action,” while calling for justice for George Floyd.

McCartney will celebrate his 78th birthday next week on 18 June. For those looking to get him a present, Paul has only one request: give up meat consumption. “All I’ve ever wanted for my birthday is peace on Earth—including for the animals,” McCartney wrote on the PETA website.

“That’s why this year I’m urging fans to watch a video I hosted for PETA titled ‘Glass Walls’. We called it that because if slaughterhouses had glass walls, who would want to eat meat?”
