Paul Weller was joined on stage by former Jam band mate Bruce Foxton during a gig at the Royal Albert Hall this week in London. The Changing Man declared the event to be ‘history in the making’ as he welcomed his old bass player on stage, beginning a three song bracket with the weller solo song ‘Fast Car/Slow Traffic‘. Almost thirty years of bitterness was cast aside as the two, augmented by Weller’s backing band, ran through Jam classics ‘The Eton Rifles’ and ‘The Butterfly Collector‘. Foxton left the stage to rapturous applause and a bear hug from the Modfather.
