Pearl Jam paid a nuanced but heartwarming tribute to the late Chris Cornell during their Amsterdam show. The band took the stage all wearing t-shirts honouring the Soundgarden singer and his various musical aliases.

Lead singer Eddie Vedder wore a ‘Nude Dragons’ t-shirt – which was the alias used by Soundgarden during their 2010 comeback show. Whilst guitarist Mike McCready donned an Ultramega OK shirt.

This tribute comes only a few weeks after the first anniversary of Cornell’s passing. Pearl Jam have previously paid tribute to Cornell’s life. In March they dedicated a heartfelt performance of ‘Come Back’ to their peer.
