Rock legend and drummer extraordinaire Phil Collins has announced he is bringing hit Not Dead Yet: Live! tour to Australia next year.

The tour will see Collins play venues in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth over January and February.

This will be Collins’ first visit to Australian in over 23 years. He’ll be bringing with him longtime touring members Daryl Stuermer (former Genesis touring musician), Brad Cole, Leland Sklar and Luis Conte; as well as a horn section.

The Not Dead Yet tour has received critical acclaim. In a statement, Collins has added “I thought I would retire quietly, But thanks to the fans, my family and support from some extraordinary artists I have rediscovered my passion for music and performing. It’s time to do it all again and I’m excited. It just feels right”

Just last week Phil Collin’s said that he’d be keen on the idea of a Genesis reunion — who last toured together back in 2007.
