Just one week after sharing their latest single, Revesby’s finest will be hitting the road, with Pist Idiots announcing a national tour earlier today.
This time last week, Pist Idiots around the world were collectively pressing ‘play’ on streaming services after the band formally released their latest single, ‘Ticker’.
A live favourite for some time now, the tune was revealed to be the title track of their forthcoming EP, which is set to be collected on vinyl along with their first two releases.
Recorded at Gosford’s The Grove Studios, Australia’s future pub-rock icons found themselves in a studio filled with history, hitting up a location previously utilised by the likes of Birds Of Tokyo, Skegss, DMA’S, The Presets, and much more.
“Ticker is our third EP, it’s a collection of some of our oldest songs coming to life and obviously newest,” the band explained of the new release. “This is also going to be our first physical release, which we’ve been waiting so long for and finally, it’s here.”
Featuring seven tracks, including the previously-released ‘Motor Runnin’ and ‘Roundhouse’, Ticker is set to be released on September 20th, giving fans just enough time to learn all the words before the band head out on their latest tour.
Kicking off in Adelaide on October 10th, the Ticker EP tour will see the lads hit up Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria, before wrapping things up with a Canberra show on November 8th.
