2019 is shaping up to be a busy year for Revesby’s Pist Idiots, with the group announcing a run of national tour dates today.
For a couple of years now, Pist Idiots have been one of the rawest, most fiery groups going around the country. With a no-holds-barred approach to songwriting, and a penchant for delivering some of the rowdiest live shows on offer, they’ve become a firm favourite of crowds all over the country.
In fact, Skegss even gave the band a glowing review back in 2017, explaining that they had “come out of the gate so hot with their own sound style unlike any other.” No matter who you are, that’s a recommendation you can’t look past.
Having released their debut song, ‘Fuck Off’, back in early 2017, the group soon released an infectious self-titled EP, before teaming up with the blokes in Bad//Dreems to record 2018’s Princes EP.
Touring with The Chats, supporting the likes of West Thebarton, and even scoring a spot on last year’s Sydney City Limits festival, it seems like there’s nothing that the group can’t do.
Now, having released their latest single, ‘Motor Runnin”, the lads have locked in a run of national dates.
Describing these shows as an opportunity for punters to receive “a heavy dose of some old fashioned Australian rock n roll,” Pist Idiots will be kicking things off in Melbourne this June, before hitting up Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide, before wrapping things up in Perth on July 6th.
