The last few years have been a total whirlwind ride for Aussie metalcore luminaries Polaris. Since the release of their sophomore EP The Guilt And The Grief in 2016, the band have continued to flex their kingdom-conquering riff skills and demon-summoning breakdowns in an effort to set a new standard in local heavy music.

2017’s The Mortal Coil saw the band receive huge acclaim amongst Aussie metalcore connoisseurs, with the band taking their tech-drenched sound overseas alongside the likes of Parkway Drive and We Came As Romans. This year, the band have already capped off two national headline tours, with their regional tour featuring Aussie hardcore firestarters Justice For The Damned only just wrapping up over the weekend.

Now, the band have announced their largest ever Australian headline tour, bringing along US scene deities  The Devil Wears Prada, hard-hitting Alabama natives Gideon and UNFD signees Thornhill.

Kicking things off on November 1st, the tour will see the Sydney natives take their electrifying live show to Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne, where they’ll be playing their biggest shows to date.

“These shows are going to be the biggest headline shows we have ever had and to say I’m excited is a huge understatement with The Devil Wears Prada being my all-time favourite band you can bet you’ll be seeing me front and centre in the mosh every night of this huge run,” says Polaris vocalist Jamie Hails.

The Devil Wears Prada were last in the country for Soundwave 2015, with their last release Transit Blues arriving in 2016. The band will be celebrating the ten-year anniversary of their classic album With Roots Above and Branches Below in 2019 so expect plenty of throwbacks to the metalcore monolith during their set.
