Post Malone might be one of the most well-known people in the world of music right now, but that hasn’t stopped the rapper from being the target of a botched home invasion recently.

Over the last year, Post Malone has managed to make chart history with his latest album, Beerbongs & Bentleys. As a result, he’s become one of the most notable and most profitable artists doing the rounds right now. However, it seems a bunch of would-be robbers didn’t get the memo that this bit of extra cash has meant that ol’ Postie was able to upgrade his living quarters recently.

As TMZ notes, US law enforcement officials revealed that a house in California’s San Fernando Valley was mistakenly targeted in home invasion last week.

As it happens, three male suspects are being sought after they broke into a house and pistol-whipping the occupant. The men reportedly shouted out “Where’s Post Malone?” in the process, before leaving with over $20,000 in jewellery, cash, and other items.

According to reports, the house did indeed used to be previously occupied by Post Malone, but he hasn’t lived there for a number of months.

At this stage, law enforcement are trying to work out if the robbery was linked to a handful of other celebrity robberies, with a safe being stolen from a house occupied by Rae Sremmurd later that same night.

Of course, this isn’t the first bit of bad luck that Post Malone has had in recent times, with the rapper going through a couple of near-death experiences recently.

Just last month, Post Malone’s private jet was forced to make an emergency landing after it blew out two landing gear tyres during take-off. Then, just last week, he was involved in a car accident in West Hollywood which saw his expensive Rolls Royce Wraith being busted up very badly.

As The Blast reports, Malone told paparazzi that “You can’t fuckin’ kill me, motherfuckers,” as he was being pulled out of the wreckage.

Whatever your opinion of Post Malone is, we reckon he might want to head out and buy a lottery ticket with all the luck he’s been having lately.
