If that Puddle of Mudd cover of ‘About A Girl’ left you salivating for more acoustic Nirvana covers, you’re in luck. Post Malone has announced that he will play a Nirvana tribute set as part of a forthcoming Youtube livestream set to raise funds for coronavirus relief.

The event kicks off on Friday, April 24th at 6pm EDT. The “Stay Home and Jam #WithMe” stream will see Posty cover a  selection of “Nirvana hits and fan favourites”, from the comfort of his home. The musician is encouraging fans to make donations to the UN Foundation during the live stream. With Google set to match all donations at a 2:1 rate, up to $5 million. You can find all the information below.

Post Malone has never been shy about his admiration for Nirvana. He has previously taken to covering the legendary Seattle grunge act during live performances. He also boasts a number of Nirvana tattoos: with a portrait of Kurt Cobain on his knuckles, and ‘Stay Away’ tattooed on his forehead as a homage to the Nirvana track of the same name.
