Post Malone may have only released his third studio album Hollywood’s Bleeding in late 2020, but the hip hop superstar says he’s keen to release another record soon.

Over the weekend, Posty took the internet by storm with a 15-song Nirvana tribute set raising money for coronavirus relief. He was joined by blink-182’s Travis Barker, and raised over US$2.5 million, but you might have missed the fact he slipped a cheeky album tease in the set as well.

Part-way through the set, he revealed that he’s been working on a new record. Seems like Post Malone is one of a whole stack of artists who’ve taken time amid the COVID-19 crisis to work on new music, because there sure as hell isn’t any touring happening at the moment.

“Working on this new album I got coming for y’all. I’m really fucking excited for it,” he said.

“Trying to put it out as soon as I fucking can. I’m really proud of the music that we’re making. I’m having a lot of fucking fun and I’m really fucking excited to put something new out for y’all.”

Based on his Nirvana set, and the fact that Posty recorded a song with ‘Prince Of Darkness’ Ozzy Osbourne on his last record, we’re hoping that this next project might include a bit more rock!
