Brisbane indie soul songstress Bec Laughton has quite a knack for penning a killer pop hook. With a brand new material on the horizon, the singer has dropped new single ‘Number 1 (Heartbreak)’ straight off her upcoming EP.
Recorded and produced by Graham Ritchie (Emma Louise, Big Scary, Skinny Jean) ‘Number 1 (Heartbrea) is the follow up to her previous single, ‘Gonna Love You’
After landing #1 on the triple j Roots Charts, getting CD of the week in Sydney Morning Herald and Indie Clip of the Week on Rage TV, word about Bec Laughton is spreading fast.
She has played countless festivals, including main stage at Easterfest, Island Vibe, Woodford Folk Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival and Brisbane Festival, and wrapped up 2013 with her ‘Darkest Love’ tour which showed off her incredible live show to audiences around the country.
