Brisbane jangly pop crew Make More have just dropped their sun-drenched new single ‘Best End’ the first taste of the band’s upcoming LP titled Spend Life. According to the band it’s an album that has thus far been recorded twice, whilst the band broke up four times.

Featuring members of To The North, Nature Trails, Epithets and Old Love, these guys create delightfully wobbly, stripped back pop gems for fans of ’90s indie pop like Pavement and Superchunk.

Set for release later this year, the album promises to be a “soundtrack to bare feet on hot concrete, tallies on balconies, a bucket of low grade hommus, boho chic on the man made beach – you can hear the years of disdain and joy in this piece of aural nostalgia”.  Check out the first cut  ‘Best End’ below and if you like what you’re hearing stay locked to the band’s Facebook page for more info on upcoming shows and releases.
