Brissy indie rock legends Con and The Liar are gearing up to embark on a huge national tour and to celebrate they’re unleashing a brand new killer single titled ‘Drummer & Lovers’.

This will be the very first time the five piece band are breaking free from Brisbane to get a taste of the tour life and to show Sydney and Melbourne just what they can do live.

Patiently waiting for the perfect tour opportunity, the band has been evolving for two years since their debut EP Deserters (released 2014), over this period they have transitioned from a two piece to a four piece to now a five piece as new songs were produced that concluded with new instrumentation that inherently led to new dedicated players for their live shows.

Recorded by Konstantin Kerstig at Airlock Studios ‘Drummer & Lovers’ is an energetic embodiment of the band’s songwriting capability and oozes with electricity. Check it out below and if you like what you’re hearing pop by the band’s Facebook page for more info on the upcoming tour.
