We’re super excited to be premiering today ‘Honey’ the debut single from Melbourne act Miles de Carteret, a collaborative project between the supremely talented singer/songwriter Miles de Carteret and producer/drummer Danny Barwick.
Following several years of touring with other, separate projects, de Carteret and Barwick came together just this year to fulfil their shared vision of creating their own thoughtfully crafted, evocative music by blending electronic elements with live performance.
An exploration of the concept of loving someone for their flaws and failures, ‘Honey’ came about after the duo began the production in their studio in Melbourne’s Southeast, before bringing the composition to producer Oscar Dawson (HOLY HOLY, Ali Barter, Ben Wright Smith) at his studio in Abbotsford.
To celebrate the release of ‘Honey’ Miles de Carteret will be playing some support shows with Ben Wright Smith, and their own headline shows in the coming months. Details below and for more info visit the band’s Facebook page.
