Melbourne singer/songwriter Joe Forrester has just released his latest single, the joyously bitter ‘Mercy, I Don’t Want You Anymore’.

It’s a rollicking dose of alt-folk that copes with heartbreak by way of gritting its teeth and diving into an upbeat chorus. “It drove me fucking crazy,” spits Joe, pouring his heart out over rapid-fire drums, as horns and guitars swell in support.

He’ll be launching the single at the Wesley Anne this Saturday with Kyle Taylor and Scotty Candlish, so get down for a singalong.
