Melbourne’s most exciting indie folk/ alt country crews Murdena (fronted by brother/sister combo Hugh and Annie-Rose Maloney) are back at it with their brand new single ‘Black Coloured Tears’ – the latest taste of the forthcoming album set for release later in the year.
‘Black Coloured Tears’ was recorded in Paradise, Tasmania alongside engineer Bart Thomas in his log cabin turned recording studio, 100% off the grid in Tasmania’s lush bushland.
After just just 8 days the band had tracked an album completely live, capturing the organic and intimate nature of the band.
To celebrate the release of this killer single, Murdena will be playing a Sunday residency at Melbourne’s Wesley Anne in June. Make sure you get there from 6pm to catch the band in action, for more info on the upcoming shows pop by Murdena’s Facebook page.
