Do you ever look at a band and consider yourself lucky to exist in the same time as them? If not, you’re about to feel that way about Paradise Club and their latest single.
Having been on the scene for a few years now, Adelaide’s Paradise Club have managed to make a name for themselves as one of the dreamiest groups in town, with their luscious compositions and indie-rock sensibilities turning them into a must-hear band for countless fans.
With a number of songs and critically-acclaimed live shows to their name, the future is looking bright for Paradise Club, who are gearing up to officially release ‘All You Got’ – their first single since 2019’s blissful ‘Above Me’ – on Friday.
An upbeat, synth-laded track that showcases everything we’ve come to know and love about Paradise Club, it comes alongside a charmingly-nostalgic music video filmed in the searing heat of regional South Australia.
“We filmed the video in January, about 500km out of Adelaide in a town called Cowell, where it can get up to 45 degrees,” explained frontman Gere Fuss. “So myself, Huon and our long time friend and collaborator Kyle, loaded up the bike and got into my Hilux, which has no air-conditioning.
“Seats soaked in sweat, we made it to our friends Liz and Raymond’s place. Got some sleep and then went straight out to film at sunrise. We shot everything we needed that morning, so we decided to make the trip home that day. Liz warned us that we should leave later on, or perhaps the next day to avoid the heat, but we didn’t listen.
“100km down the road I notice the temperature gauge climbing, so we pull over. Thanks to my heat fuelled delusion, I rip the radiator cap straight off. Like a blender without the lid, coolant explodes all over me and the windshield.

“After some burn cream and distilled water, we carry on for the rest of the 5 hour drive, stopping at every town to top up the car, while baking in the still, dry heat. We reminisce about that drive purely because of how fucked it was to drive 1000km in two days without air-conditioning at almost 50 degrees.”
While the presence of the heat can definitely be seen in the final product, the track is as cool as a cucumber sandwich in an air-conditioned caravan, with its melodic brilliance taking you away to somewhere special.
The video for ‘All You Got’ is officially out on Friday, May 15th, but if you like the sound of this, you can give it a sneaky peek below.
