Indie rockers Skyscraper Stan and the Commission Flats are today sharing the video for their rollicking single ‘Always Thinking of You’ the second single to be released off Stan and The Commission Flat’s debut LP Last Years Tune.
After a brief run-in with school and limited success with women “Skyscraper” Stan Woodhouse picked up a guitar and discovered the only thing he was any good at; writing songs. Three weeks shy of his 21st birthday he moved to Melbourne from New Zealand and hit the pub circuit. These days he’s more at home in the boot of a station wagon, touring relentlessly both solo and with his band “the Commission Flats”
The video for this single was recorded over one evening in the kitchen of a share house that has accommodated most members of the band at some time over the last two years. Shot in timelapse on three iPhones the clip covers a four hour drinking session reduced to two minutes and forty seconds of feverish activity.
