Melbourne synthpop four-piece Winterplan are today gracing us with not one but two new tracks, releasing their double single ‘SS’/’AICD’.
We’ve been following along with this mob since premiering their 2015 debut album, and they continued to impress with their single ‘Rigamortis’ earlier this year, which will sit snugly alongside these two tracks on their upcoming medical-themed EP.
Appropriately, the intense retro-future electro of ‘SS’ and artificial tones of ‘AICD’ could be the soundtrack to a marathon operation performed by a team of robots in the sterile white halls of a near-future hospital, as brooding synths gradually unfold.
