Melbourne trio Woodlock have just release their latest single ‘The Only Ones’.
It’s a distinct move away from the acoustic folk that’s been their bread-and-butter up to this point, bringing instead a more electronic influence of pop synths, thumping drums and melancholy atmospherics.
The track was recorded, mixed and mastered with a team that has worked with everyone from Bertie Blackman and Vance Joy to 5SOS, and they’ve proven to be an ideal mix of expertise to bring the talented acoustic crew into a whole new genre.
The boys will be be giving this new style a spin very soon on an East Coast single launch tour, and you can find the dates below.
