Melbourne drum and harp trio Zikora have just unveiled their new video ‘Golden Thread’ featuring impressive animation by Simon Howe from No Such Place.
In 2010 Zikora formed, as Emily, Talia and Ellisa found each other to undertake an unusual project. Blending non-traditional instruments with the more standard spread, Zikora serves up a unique acoustic dance/funk/folk sound which they describe as Drum ‘n’ Harp.
This stunning single ‘Golden Thread’ was produced, recorded and mixed by Aria and Golden Guitar- nominated producer mixer and engineer Jimi Maroudas (Kimbra/Eskimo Joe/ Bertie Blackman) and recorded at Sing Sing South studios in Melbourne.
