The Queen Australian Tour 2014 has expanded as the tickets go on sale today.

Following overwhelming demand during the presale period, two extra shows have been added in Melbourne and Sydney for the Queen Australian Tour 2014, where the legendary British rock band will also be playing in Perth and Brisbane.

Hitting Down Under this August, the legendary British rock band will be bringing Adam Lambert to the Antipodes to fill in on frontman duties.

It will be Queen’s first visit in nearly 30 years, their last tour Down Under being in April 1985. Promoter Paul Dainty saying in a statement “Since I have started promoting and producing concert tours, one of my biggest dreams has been to bring Queen back to Australia and now this dream is a reality.”

Original members Brian May and Roger Taylor will be once again teaming up with Adam Lambert for the Australian Tour, continuing a relationship that first kicked off in 2009 for a performance of ‘We Are The Champions’ on American Idol. Since then, the Lambert-fronted Queen have played several awards shows as well as world touring in America and Europe. The Queen Australian Tour 2014 is part of a global itinerary that will see the band also playing in the US, Japan, and South Korea.
