Rammstein have been causing a stir all year, from their first record in 10 years to rubbing it in the face of Russian LGBT laws.

However, it turns out that their music isn’t immune from a good ol’ neighborhood complaint for just being to damn loud.

The band’s banger of a new single Deutschland was mistakenly left blasting all night at the construction site for the new Puksas Arena, with a formal apology being issued from the site.

“There was an unpleasant noise from Monday to Tuesday which was caused by a technical error, according to the contractor. Necessary steps have been taken to ensure that such a case does not happen again” translated the hilarious Facebook post.

“We are sure that the world-class arena, which will be ready by mid-November, and the new green land around it will make it up to the residents.

“”We apologize to the residents of the surrounding streets for the inconvenience caused.”

The band put out an evocative video for the song earlier this year which attracted controversy (what’s new?) due to some claiming it trivialized the holocaust.

“With this video, the band has crossed a line”, said Holocaust survivor Charlotte Knobloch at the time.

“The instrumentalization and trivialization of the Holocaust, as shown in the images, is irresponsible.”

Felix Klein, the German government’s commissioner for anti-semitism, went on to label the song and video “a tasteless exploitation of artistic freedom.”

Regardless of the appropriateness of the song and it’s video-clip, it seems like some Hungarian residents had a hell of a lot of time to think about it last week. Still groovier than most radio material played on building sites.
