Recently in the country for Meredith Music Festival and a string of acclaimed sideshows, US duo Ratatat are set to return to Australia this April to take the stage at Groovin The Moo 2016 and a string of headline shows.
The band have now announced supports for their Australian shows. First up, quirky Sydney musician Kirin J Callinan will be appearing as a special guest during the band’s Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth shows.
Opening in Sydney and Melbourne will be Frikstailers, direct from Mexico City, and conducting opening proceedings in Perth are local rockers The Community Chest, led by Adem K, who you know from Turnstyle.
Meanwhile, Ratatat are still hot on the heels of their acclaimed fifth studio album, Magnifique. The record follows on from the experimental sounds of their LP3 and LP4 releases, but includes a return to their core guitar-driven sound.
