Elton John
The Diving Board

Do you remember when rock was young? No? Well you’re about to thanks to a much anticipated release from Sir Elton John. A return to the piano-bass-drums construction of Elton’s early years, and a celebration of his brilliance not just as a song craftsman but as a world-class pianist, The Diving Board will evoke memories of the groundbreaking albums that established him in the early 1970s and will mark his 30th release.

It’s only a year since he topped the UK album chart with Good Morning To The Night, which saw Aussie duo PNAU reinhabiting his classic catalogue. But The Diving Board is Elton’s first studio recording of all-new solo material since 2006’s The Captain & The Kid, and when the sessions started, he came roaring out of the traps.

As on his formative first albums, John’s collaborations with long time work partner Bernie Taupin have echoes of the gospel, blues and country of the great American outdoors that always inspired themThe

Tonight Alive
The Other Side

After recording their 2011 debut album What Are You So Scared Of? the Australian pop-punk icons decided to make their sophomore album closer to home. After finding a stunning remote house near Coffs Harbour, NSW, on a property surrounded by acres of forest, they took it over and reinvented it as their own epic recording studio.

The first track  to be released from the record shows a tougher and more sophisticated approach than their 2011 debut and is a promising insight to what is to come from The Other Side.

The band are currently touring the US as part of the 2013 Vans Warped Tour, and plan to tour Australia again later this year to introduce fans to the depth and intense live experience of the new album.

The Other Side will be available September 6th through Sony.

Norma Jean
Wrongdoers

It’s not the extra chapter at the end of a great book, it’s the beginning of a whole new story.
